Terry Hearn
Living legend Terry has a carp fishign CV that all anglers would dream of, 6 different UK 50′s and countless 40′s to his name. The most recent publicially announced capture was that of the “Burghfield Common”, weighing in at a massive 47lb 14oz, the Common was tempted by Hearn after a painstaking campaign at the inously difficult 94-acreCEMEX Burghfield Lake just outside Reading. The common had only been caught 5 times prior to this in the last 12 years, bearing testament to the skill and pernash required by Terry to bank the carp from only 10 yards out.
Though far from the biggest capture of his career, it is widely regarded as one of the best, other notable catches by Terry include:
- Bazil: 45lb 6o from Yateley North Lake.
- Mary: 55lb 13oz, Wraysbury.
- Two Tone: 50lb 13oz, Conningbrook.
- Black Mirror: 48lb, ‘The Mere’.
- Fat Lady: 51lb, St Ives Lagoon.
- Heather the Leather: 48lb 2oz, Yateley Car Park Lake.
- Sid: 51lb 8oz, Dinton.
- Black Eye: 50lb 1oz Chad Lakes.
